| Teachers and parental organizations show positive opinions to the new education minister candidate, Mr. Kim Shin-Il on September 1st.
KFTA spokesperson said, “Mr. Kim has a deep knowledge of education and a balanced view on educational policies. Besides, he is a person who gains confidence from the education field. We would like Mr. Kim to restore educational independence, professionalism and political impartiality, inactive school society and regain educational trust from students and parents, so that he lets us to see educational hope for the nation.”
Parental organizations stated, “We think that Mr. Kim strongly understands current educational affairs. We hope that he becomes an education minister who truly cares about students and parents, not leaning over certain teachers’ organizations”
At the inauguration of September 20th, Education Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Kim Shin-Il implied there would be no drastic changes in education policies by remarking on the importance of basic learning ability development of infanthood, childhood, and life long education.
