The KFTA published a ‘Teacher’s Guide for Human Rights’. The book known as ‘United’ is teaching materials on human rights for youth and is made by ‘Youth for Human Rights International’ and the ‘Shuttleworth Leadership Society International’. The KFTA has translated and published it in Korean.
The initiation of this program followed the visit to the KFTA last August by Ms. Mary Shuttleworth (President, Youth for Human Rights International) to ascertain the concern and support on human rights education for youth by teachers organizations. The Youth for Human Rights International said, ’UNITED’ is the book which helps in class preparation for teachers and it will be useful material for teachers, parents, and youth organizational leaders.

The KFTA website includes a PDF file of the Korean book and printed materials of limited edition for organizations which need assistance on human rights education for youth. The KFTA announced that the Korean version of the human rights education book would be material to build respect for human rights among the education communities.
